ANDANTE PATENT OFFICE was established in November, 2003. We started our work regularly from April, 2004. We have provided several kinds of services concerning intellectual properties for our clients since then. Our clients gave us a lot of chances for experiences of wide technical fields, such as material science, computer software, manufacturing technology, etc., for protection over domestic and foreign countries.

Generally speaking of patents, a specialized field often becomes the subject of discussion. But we should not keep attention to such field so much. Because technology is developed by inventors, and the inventors mostly understand new technology. Further, the technology makes progress day by day. Therefore, we consider that our duty are following:

To find new invention within their new technology through interviews with the inventors and our studying and searching;

To understand the new technology in view of invention such as object, structure, effect, etc.; and,

To explain the new technology by sentences or words in view of invention so that the range of protection right may be as wide as possible and as strong as possible. So, we are always ready for absorbing new invention and making efforts to make patent documents of wide and strong rights. We hope that the invention will be utilized in real industrial society.

In above, we write on our best behavior as our policy. In other words, we make desperate efforts to do our daily work so as not to be complained about our business by our clients.

Our location is strange in a sense. But we also handle foreign cases concerning intellectual properties. Our clients also gave us a lot of opportunities to handle foreign cases such as US cases, European cases, and Asian cases, etc. So we can provide you world wide services concerning intellectual properties in accordance with your request.

Origin of our name "ANDANTE" comes from musical terminology which means "steadily." But our name "ANDANTE" has another aspect. From the Japanese point of view, "ANDANTE" can be written as three Kanji - AN (idea) DAN (warm) and TE (hand). Thus our firm receives ideas with warm hands. In order to create wide and strong right, not to be caught up by other competitors is the most important. In such meanings, our patent documents should be such as to make our clients satisfy. On the other hand, our patent documents should be such as to make competitors be in trouble. So sometimes, we should be cool or strict in order to attack or protect from competitors.
